Edward Belanger*, Fight Director - The Housekeeper, Wild Irish Geese

Edward has had the great pleasure of serving as 4th Line Theatre’s Fight Director since 2004. His credits with the company include The Cavan Blazers (2004, 2011, 2023), A History of Drinking in Cavan, Carmel, Who Killed Snow White?, Wounded Soldiers, The Bad Luck Bank Robbers, The Winslows of Derryvore, Schoolhouse, The Art of Silent Killing, and Doctor Barnardo’s Children. Edward is also a high school drama teacher in Toronto, where he is passionate about developing young artists. His productions include original student works like Resilience and Hidden Roots, along with large-scale shows such as Mamma Mia!, Chicago, The Addams Family, Footloose, Big Fish, The Laramie Project, Macbeth, Our Town, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Outsiders, and Schoolhouse. As an actor, Edward has played Dane Swain in The Cavan Blazers (4th Line Theatre), Orlando in As You Like It (Dream in High Park), Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet (Globe Theatre, Regina), the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz (Grand Theatre, London), Mozart in Amadeus (Studio Theatre, Edmonton), and appeared in Mary’s Wedding (Prairie Theatre Exchange) and Mamma Mia! (Mirvish Productions). He is a certified Fight Director with Fight Directors Canada and a proud member of the Canadian Actors’ Equity Association.

Kim Blackwell, 4th Line Theatre’s Managing Artistic Director; Director/Dramaturge - Wild Irish Geese

Kim Blackwell is 4th Line Theatre’s Managing Artistic Director and is a veteran 4th Line director/producer – 2025 marks her 31st season with 4th Line Theatre where she has directed 30 productions including 17 world premieres. Her play A Daughter had its world premiere in 2020 as a part of the Open Spaces Theatre Festival and was selected to be a part of the International Rural Women’s Studies Conference hosted by University of Guelph in 2021. Kim was inducted into Peterborough’s Pathway of Fame in September 2016. In 2020 she received Toronto theatre critic Lynn Slotkin’s Jon Kaplan Mensch Award. Kim recently joined the Playwright’s Guild of Canada. Kim is working on her first solo, full-length play for 4th Line, The Lost Souls.

Jeff Braunstein, Production & Site Operations Manager - The Housekeeper, Wild Irish Geese

Jeff has been working as a theatre professional in Canada and the U.S. as a performer, director, producer and stage manager. He has worked extensively in the theatre, television and film. He is pleased to be back for this his fourth season at 4th Line. He has worked for Talk is Free Theatre in Barrie as production manager for the past five years on numerous productions. As well as shows in Australia, Argentina, Chile, Japan and most recently, Jeff was production manager for Hyprov at the Mirvish CAA Theatre in Toronto. Jeff is also the Founder and Artistic Producer of Asterix Productions, a corporate communication company producing live musical theatre and videos for major corporations across the world. Jeff was also the President of the Canadian Actors’ Equity Association for six years and prior to that was Vice President for six years. Jeff was the President of PAL Canada for two terms. PAL has eight chapters from Halifax to Vancouver. Jeff is a resident of Bala, ON.

Kiana Bromley, Actor - The Housekeeper

Kiana Bromley (she/her) is thrilled to return to the 4th Line stage. This summer marks her third show at the Farm. Kiana is a graduate of Thomas A. Stewart’s IA Drama Program and has now stepped into the Kingston art scene. Kiana is excited to be back and working with such talented people. Acting credits include: Rent (Blue Canoe Productions); Wizard of Oz (TAS), Who Killed Snow White?, The History of Drinking in Cavan (4th Line Theatre). Follow my Instagram @kianabromley!

Emily Brown, Stage Manager - Wild Irish Geese

Emily is an emerging stage manager, director and playwright from Guelph and a graduate from the University of Guelph’s Theatre program. This is Emily’s fourth summer at 4th Line and she’s thrilled to be back. Previous credits at 4th Line include: The Verandah Society: Up to Snow Good, Jim Watts: Girl Reporter, The Cavan Blazers, Carmel. Emily’s first play, Plunge, premiered this past January with LaMira Rose Theatre Collective.

Greg Carruthers*, Intimacy Director, The Housekeeper, Wild Irish Geese

Greg is an award-winning producer, choreographer and intimacy director based in Toronto, Canada. Greg has choreographed for The Second City, PepsiCo, Canada's Wonderland, The Grand Theatre (London) Theatre Sheridan and the Madinat Theatre (Dubai). Greg has produced events through her company "EveryBODY on Stage" for Comedy Bar, Musical Stage Co and Buddies in Bad Times Theatre which has garnered him a WEBBY Award and a Premier's Award Nomination. @EveryBODYonStage

Indigo Chesser, Actor - Wild Irish Geese

Indigo is honoured and excited to be performing in Wild Irish Geese this summer with 4th Line Theatre. She has just finished her Grade 9 year at Lakefield College School and calls Keene, ON home. Her past 4th Line credits include: Sunny in The Great Shadow, The Cavan Blazers and Jim Watts: Girl Reporter. Other credits include: Matilda (North Stages); Beauty and the Beast (SJP); The Sound of Music (VOS); Annie (PTG); Mean Girls, She Kills Monsters (LCS). Indigo recently made her directorial debut as assistant director for Girl in the Goldfish Bowl (PTG). She is deeply grateful to her family and her ever-growing theatre community for their love and support as she pursues her dreams of acting and directing.

Michelle Chesser, Set Designer/Actor - Wild Irish Geese

Michelle is excited to be part of 4th Line Theatre's cast and creative team. She holds a degree in theatre technical production from TMU and has been an active member of the Peterborough theatre community for over 25 years. Last summer, she worked with 4th Line Theatre on Jim Watts: Girl Reporter, serving as both set designer and as member of the acting company, blending her passions for design and performance. She is thrilled to return this summer for Wild Irish Geese, where she will serve as the set designer and perform alongside her children Jasper and Indigo.

Gary Cooper, Site Coordinator - The Housekeeper, Wild Irish Geese

Gary has just finished up a 30 year career in manufacturing spending the last 22 years in Peterborough and is returning to his roots in theatre. He majored in dramatic arts and completed the Theatre in the Community program at Turner Fenton Secondary School in Brampton in 1994. Gary has been a background performer in film from his late teens into his early 30s, last participating in the CTV television film “Spirit Bear” in 2004, filmed in Peterborough. Gary returned to theatre last fall in the David Porter production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show at Erben in Peterborough as the character Brad Majors. Gary is very grateful for this new opportunity and is eager to welcome you to 4th Line Theatre this summer!

Paul Crough, Actor - Wild Irish Geese

Paul is excited to be making his debut at 4th Line Theatre and equally thrilled to be part of his dear friend Meg’s launch of Wild Irish Geese. Paul has performed on stages in Canada as well as internationally, but the draw of home always brought him back to the local theatre stages. He is grateful for having worked with artistic giants at the Peterborough Theatre Guild, St. James Players and New Stages. For more than a decade, he was Artistic Director at the Ennismore Homestead Theatre which allowed him to explore as a playwright and songwriter. Recent credits include Something Rotten (PTG), Spamalot (PTG), More Than a Memory (EHT). He is indebted to his family for their years of support sitting through hours of his childhood stories.

Jay Davis*, Actor - The Housekeeper

Jay is thrilled to be making his 4th Line Theatre debut. Jay feels so blessed to have been involved in several new Canadian productions throughout his 30+ year career. Canadian credits include Baco Noir, Bittergirl, Dracula, Evangeline, Maggie, Anne of Green Gables, Colours in the Storm, Little Women and most recently the Mirvish production of Life After. Other credits include: Dear Evan Hansen (Mirvish), The Play That Goes Wrong, The Clockmaker, The Last Five Years, Ordinary Days, Miss Saigon (West End) and Jesus Christ Superstar (European Tour). TV/Film: Warner Bros. “Titans,” “Designated Survivor,” and “The Handmaid's Tale.” This year there will be several opportunities to catch Jay Davis and The Feeling Buble Band on their, “Bublé Christmas” tour of Ontario starting this November. Chelsea Day, Assistant to the Costume Designer - The Housekeeper, Wild Irish Geese

After spending the past year dressing the folks of Electric City Players, this is Chelsea’s first season with 4th Line Theatre as the Assistant to the Costume Designer. After years of working as a personal stylist, she welcomes the new challenges of dressing actors for the stage, and continuing to help people put their pants on one leg at a time.

Monica Dottor* - Choreographer - Wild Irish Geese

Monica is a 12-time Dora Mavor Moore award-nominated artist in five different categories including Actor(5x), Choreographer(5x), Director (1x) and Costume Designer (1x). She’s a Dora-award winner with Matthew Mackenzie for Best Production of BEARS and a Dora-award winner For Outstanding Performance in a Feature Role with The Penelopiad ensemble (Nightwood). Monica has worked with 4th Line Theatre in various roles, including as a Choreographer for The Berlin Blues (2011), Queen Marie (2012), The Real McCoy (2013), Wounded Soldiers (2014), Bombers: Reaping the Whirlwind (2017); Assistant Director/Choreographer for The History of Drinking in Cavan (2017); as Choreographer/Actor for The Hero of Hunter Street (2016), as Choreographer/Co-writer of The Shadow Walk of Millbrook (2016, 2018); and as an Actor in The Bad Luck Bank Robbers (2015, 2016).

Jason Edmunds, Musician - Wild Irish Geese

Jason Edmunds is a multi-instrumentalist. He plays fiddle, mandolin, guitar and other string instruments. He is a composer, performer, teacher and producer. Jason loves all music but mainly creates in the realms of Celtic music, bluegrass and eastern European folk music. He spends his free time teaching his three children how to play music as ‘The Edmunds Family Band.’ He likes to unwind by camping and canoeing in the summer or cross-country skiing in the winter.

Molly Gabriel, Assistant Stage Manager - Wild Irish Geese

Molly recently graduated from Thomas A. Stewart Secondary School, where she was part of the visual stream in the Integrated Arts Program. In the fall, she will begin her first year of undergraduate studies in mathematics. In her free time, she enjoys exploring creative outlets such as theatre, painting and writing. Molly is excited to return for her second summer at 4th Line Theatre and looks forward to another amazing production.

Celine Gadoury, Production Assistant - The Housekeeper, Wild Irish Geese

Celine is excited to start her theatre career as the Production Assistant with 4th Line Theatre. She recently graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Musical Theatre and is thrilled to help bring this seasons’ shows to life. Some past technical credits include: VP Secretary (Queen's Musical Theatre); Accessibility Coordinator/Front of House Manager (DAN School Majors); Costume Designer (Fort Fright); Production Manager (Blue Canoe Productions); and Carpentry Crew (DAN School Majors & Fort Fright).

Bonnie Garland, Costume Designer - The Housekeeper, Wild Irish Geese

Bonnie Garland (she/they) is an emerging costume and scenic designer based in eastern Ontario. She loves theatre design, and their interest in sustainability has also led her to delve into ecoscenography. Bonnie is a recent MFA graduate at the University of Calgary with a Design/Technical specialization, and alumni of the renamed Toronto Metropolitan University with a BFA in Performance Production.

Matt Gilbert, Actor - The Housekeeper, Wild Irish Geese

Matt Gilbert has been an actor with 4th Line Theatre and in the Peterborough area for many years. He continues performing to this very day. In the future, he plans on continuing this pursuit.

Paige Gildon-Cormier, Sound Operator - The Housekeeper, Wild Irish Geese

Paige has worked sound and lighting for multiple productions at The Peterborough Theatre Guild, this will be her first time working with 4th Line Theatre however she has worked with some members of the 4th Line company before. Thank you to Kim Blackwell for reaching out to me about coming to work as a sound tech for this season. Looking forward to the experience and fun the upcoming summer season holds. Hope you enjoy this production!

Stew Granger*, Actor - Wild Irish Geese

Stew is thrilled to be acting at the farm this season. Previous nearby credits: include Mr. Lawrence in Girl in the Goldfish Bowl at The Peterborough Theatre Guild and Torvald in A Doll’s House, Part 2 with the Northumberland Players. Incidentally, Stew started his acting career on a farm in Manitoba as a tow-headed boy singing nonsense songs to whatever living creature would pay attention. Love and gratitude to Will and Rufus and you for coming to the theatre today. 

Emma Gray, Technical Director/Head Carpenter - The Housekeeper, Wild Irish Geese

Emma Gray is a passionate special effects artist and production technician dedicated to bringing imaginative visions to life. She has a deep-rooted interest for practical effects in film and a love for theatre. She specializes in prop-making and scenic art, however, her skill set also includes carpentry, metalworking, and prosthetics. She is an alumni of Sheridan College’s Technical Production for Performing Arts program, and Special Effects program. She currently works in the Greater Toronto Area and is a proud member of Alderville First Nation.

Steáfán Hannigan, Sound Designer - The Housekeeper, Wild Irish Geese

Steáfán is a Dora Award nominated sound designer (Shape of Home, Festival Players, 2023). Over the last few years he has worked alongside many Indigenous theatre creators across Turtle Island. Steáfán’s theatre credits include technical director, lighting designer, sound designer, head carpenter, musician, audio technician, set builder, painter and actor. He has worked with 4th Line Theatre, Jumblies Theatre, Toronto Fringe Festival, Soulpepper, Capitol Theatre, the Lighthouse Festival Theatre, The Grove Theatre Kawartha Lakes and many more.

Justin Hiscox, Musical Director/Composer/Musician/Actor - The Housekeeper, Wild Irish Geese

Justin Hiscox is a multi-instrumentalist and composer. He is music director for 4th Line Theatre, TimberBeast Productions, the Anne Shirley Theatre Company (Trent University) and is a conductor with Peterborough New Horizons Bands.  Justin studied composition with James Tenney and free improvisation with Casey Sokol. Justin has played bass trombone with the Peterborough Symphony, was a finalist in the 2023 Great American Song Contest, and is a member of the Peterborough Pathway Of Fame. 

Mark Hiscox, Actor/Musician - The Housekeeper, Wild Irish Geese

Mark has been involved with 4th Line Theatre every year since 1999.  Mark is an actor, conductor and musician.  He was most recently seen in three musicals in the last seven months, all at Showplace Peterborough.  He portrayed Moonface Martin in St. James Players' Anything Goes, Mr. Salt in Anne Shirley Theatre Company's Charlie And The Chocolate Factory and Jacob in Peterborough Theatre Guild's Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Mark is a member of Peterborough's Pathway Of Fame.  Mark wishes to thank Kim, Lindy, Robert, Janette, and his loving family for their endless support.

Audrey Hurcomb - Event & Marketing Coordinator - The Housekeeper, Wild Irish Geese

Audrey is a Peterborough-born creative with a lifelong love of the arts. After many years of experience as a visual artist, musician and competitive dancer, she has stepped into the theatre — minus the stage fright. In between semesters of her Experiential Design program at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario, she is eager to learn more about the world of marketing and the ways that she can bring her design mind to the 4th Line team.

Cody Inglis, Actor - The Housekeeper; Musician - Wild Irish Geese

Cody is looking forward to his third summer acting at 4th Line Theatre.  You may remember Cody carrying the giant drum in The Cavan Blazers (2023) or as Lon, spouse of Jim (Jean) Watts in Jim Watts: Girl Reporter (2024).  Cody is a student at Thomas A. Stewart Secondary School in the Integrated Arts Program and plays the bassoon in the Senior Kawartha Youth Orchestra.

M. John Kennedy*, Actor - Wild Irish Geese

Originally from Peterborough (and a direct descendent from the Robinson settlers), M. John is now the Head of the Acting Program at the Randolph College for the Performing Arts in Toronto. He is delighted to return to 4th Line Theatre in Wild Irish Geese after having such a blast in The Tilco Strike in 2023 and The Great Shadow in 2022. Other theatre credits include: Venus in Fur, It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play & Yellow Face (New Stages Peterborough); Tunnel at the End of the Light (Soldiers in the Arts); Give 'Em Hell (Prairie Fire, Please / Theatre Direct);  A Christmas Carol Comedy (No Porpoise); A Number (Lunar Stage); Macbeth, Hamlet & Romeo and Juliet (Classical Theatre Project); The 39 Steps (Gin Soak'd); The Hound of the Baskervilles & End of the Rainbow (Globus); Krampus, The Princess Knight and Treasure Island (Solar Stage), for which he was nominated for a Dora Award for Outstanding Performance by an Individual. M. John is currently touring his one-person Robert Munsch show(s) Fireside Munsch which has received eight Dora Award nominations.  Recent television credits include: “Noel Next Door” (Hallmark); “Bury the Past” (Lifetime); “Mrs. America” & “The Strain” (FX); “11/22/63” (Hulu); “Murdoch Mysteries” & “Ollie the Boy Who Became What He Ate” (CBC). Audiobooks include: Tell Me When You Feel Something, Escape Plans and The Colonial Hotel.

Darius Maliha-Evans, Actor - The Housekeeper

Darius Maliha-Evans is excited to be playing James in The Housekeeper. This is Darius’ third season at 4th Line, previously playing Garnet Tellier in The Tilco Strike and Sam in Jim Watts: Girl Reporter. Graduating high school this year, he will be attending the U of T Theatre and Drama Studies joint program with Sheridan College (TDS) in the fall. He hopes you enjoy the show as much as he loved contributing to it.

Ian McLachlan, Co-Playwright - The Housekeeper

Ian McLachlan has been teaching theatre at universities around the world for more than sixty years and is Professor Emeritus of Cultural Studies at Trent University. He is an award-winning novelist and his books The Seventh Hexagram and Helen in Exile were best sellers in the US and Canada. He and Robert Winslow have written nine plays together and Ian finds the collective and community nature of the process - the research, the interviews, the writing, the workshops - endlessly exciting. He is looking forward to their next project together.

Gailey Monner, Stage Manager - The Housekeeper

Interested in all things theatre and music, Gailey started participating in community theatre early on. Passionate about behind-the-scenes work, they have previous experience with stage management, front of house, and tech operating. After being involved in 4th Line’s The Cavan Blazers (2023) and Jim Watts: Girl Reporter (2024), Gailey is delighted to be returning this year. They are a student at Queen’s University, studying linguistics and getting involved in the music scene through their love of piano. 

Megan Murphy*, Playwright/Actor - Wild Irish Geese

Megan Murphy is a graduate of York University's Fine Arts program and has worked as an actor in film, television, theatre and radio for more than two decades. She is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory and the Seneca College Documentary Filmmaking Institute. Locally, she spent ten years co-hosting the morning show on Star 93.3 FM Radio. Her feature documentary, "Murphy's Law" won Best Documentary Film at the Fingal Film Festival in Ireland, and her short film, "Towns End," won an Audience Choice Award at the Vox Popular Film Festival. She co-created The Verandah Society, a theatrical experience of storytelling and song, alongside singer/songwriter, Kate Suhr. Zach Newnham, Actor - The Housekeeper

Since he was young, Zach has always had a way with words, and over the years that took shape in creative writing. In December of 2022, during some burnout, he thought he should broaden his horizons to the world of performing, and he didn’t need to look far or wide to do so. The 4th Line Theatre has served as a fantastic outlet to truly discover his passion in acting, and hone his skills since.

Darragh O’Connell, Actor - Wild Irish Geese

Darragh O’Connell is an Irish Canadian performer delighted to be back at 4th Line Theatre as Patrick in Wild Irish Geese, after first stepping into the role during the workshop in 2024. A familiar face in Peterborough’s theatre scene, his recent credits include The Cavan Blazers, Jim Watts: Girl Reporter, and performances with the Peterborough Theatre Guild including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Fiddler on the Roof and The Enchanted Bookshop. With Irish charm and hometown pride, Darragh is also the proud recipient of 4th Line’s 2024 Beverly Craig Bursary for Young Artists.

Sebastian Sage*, Actor - Wild Irish Geese

Sebastian Sage is a Toronto-based actor. He holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from Montreal’s Concordia University and is a graduate of the 3-Year Professional Conservatory at New York’s Stella Adler Studio of Acting. He is delighted to make Wild Irish Geese his return to the world of theatre for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic.

Julia Scaringi, Actor - The Housekeeper

Julia is thrilled to be returning to 4th Line Theatre this summer in The Housekeeper. Bringing a passion for arts, Julia studied and graduated from the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts at Brock University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and further honed her craft at the Theatre Conservatory Program at Humber.  Selected theatre credits include: Our Town (Lyndesfarne Theatre Company); That Ugly Mess (Dopolavoro Teatrale); The Infinity Machine (The Theatre Centre); The Great Shadow, The Cavan Blazers (4th Line Theatre) and As You Like It (Tottering Biped Theatre). Julia is a corporate and commercial actor and when she is not running lines, she enjoys her work as an arts educator in Toronto believing that music, drama and dance should be accessible to everyone. Patti Shaughnessy, Actor/Indigenous Story Consultant - Wild Irish Geese

Patti Shaughnessy is an actor, director and artistic producer. She co-founded the O’Kaadenigan Wiingashk Collective, producing community-rooted arts events across Canada and abroad. Patti has directed at the National Arts Centre and Tarragon Theatre and worked for over a decade with the National Theatre of Greenland. Her acting spans acclaimed works by Tomson Highway, Cliff Cardinal, Tara Beagan and Drew Hayden Taylor. Patti is a member of the Mchi Saagig Anishnaabeg from Curve Lake First Nation #35, and a descendant of Irish settlers who arrived in the Kawartha Lakes region in 1825.

Jade Showers, Props Builder & Scenic Painter - The Housekeeper, Wild Irish Geese

Jade is currently attending York University in the Theatre Production Program and entering their third year in the fall. She is super excited to be joining 4th Line Theatre's summer season team for the second year! Jade has worked on several productions to date including Onion Skins and Peach Fuzz: The Farmerettes, Jim Watts: Girl Reporter (4th Line Theatre); She Kills Monsters, and People Places and Things.

Tina Sourani, Wardrobe Manager - The Housekeeper, Wild Irish Geese

Tina Sourani is an artist with a passion for storytelling and collaboration. Since 2012, she has been involved in various theatre and film projects across Iran and Canada. Tina is proud to contribute her experiences to 4th Line Theatre, where she continues to help bring meaningful stories to life.

Mikayla Stoodley, Assistant Stage Manager - The Housekeeper; Actor - Wild Irish Geese

Mikayla is grateful to be part of 4th Line Theatre’s 2025 season, and to be working alongside a beautiful cast and crew. In the past, Mikayla has had the pleasure of acting in productions at Lakefield College School, some of which include: Lord of the Flies, Mamma Mia!, Chicago and Damn Yankees. Most recently, she stage-managed John Patrick Shanley’s Outside Mullingar, directed by Jerry Allen. Mikayla is thankful to be sharing yet another summer with such dedicated and hardworking individuals. 

Nancy Towns, Actor - Wild Irish Geese

Born and raised in Douro and Peterborough County, Nancy spent many years abroad before migrating back to her rural roots in 2017. A lifelong lover of music, Nancy’s involvement in theatre and musical theatre has evolved since her return to the region through engaging in plays with the Peterborough Theatre Guild. It is singularly meaningful for her to be a part of Wild Irish Geese, bringing to light this emigration story of ancestral significance to her personally, to her community and its heritage.

Esther Vincent , Original Set Designer - The Housekeeper

Esther Vincent has worked in the arts as a creator, mentor, technician and administrator for over thirty years. Her work has taken her across Canada and the U.S. She has enjoyed learning from artists and arts workers from diverse communities and disciplines and loves sharing what she knows.

Avelyn Waldman, Costume Builder - The Housekeeper, Wild Irish Geese

Avelyn Waldman is the proprietor of Just A Simple Tailor (www.justasimpletailor.com), provider of repairs, alterations, and custom garments to Peterborough. She has designed costumes at The Theatre on King and the Peterborough Theatre Guild and this is her third year building them for 4th Line Theatre. 

Hilary Wear, Assistant Director/Actor - The Housekeeper 

Hilary works professionally as an actor, writer and as a Therapeutic Clown for pediatric, geriatric and palliative clients in healthcare settings. She is an active caregiver for a parent living with Alzheimer's disease. Hilary is so happy to be again working as an actor at 4th Line Theatre where she has co-created with awesome artists and volunteers and with excellent creative and administrative staff serving the amazing audiences that make it all possible. This year she also has the wonderful opportunity to learn and serve in the role of assistant director.  Miigwech!

Lindsay Wilson, Actor - Wild Irish Geese

Lindsay has appeared at the Peterborough Theatre Guild as Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible (2023) and as Iris in Girl in the Goldfish Bowl (2024). At 4th Line she has appeared in The Tilco Strike (2023) and Jim Watts: Girl Reporter (2024). She is extremely excited to be back working on the Farm this summer. Thank you to all her family, friends and cast mates. 

Robert Winslow*, Co-Playwright/Director - The Housekeeper

Robert has been involved in Canadian Theatre for the past 45 years plus. His first show was prompter in a Peterborough Theatre Guild production of Playboy of the Western World by  J.M. Synge. He went on to act in shows at Trent University and Magic Circus Theatre before heading out west in 1982 where he became a professional actor based in Edmonton. Returning to Peterborough in the late 1980s, Rob founded an improv company, East City Productions, and was one of the founding members of the Union Theatre Collective. In 1992 he co-founded 4th Line Theatre on his family farm with Jerome Ackhurst. Since that time Rob has written or co-written 18 plays for the company as well as directing and acting in several. Rob has taught a theatre course in the Cultural Studies Department at Trent University for the past 28 years.
